Based in Farnborough, The Orchard Nursery provides a wonderful learning environment for children aged three months to five years. With a passionate, caring and highly qualified team, you can be sure your little ones enjoy carefully planned educational activities and inspiring experiences.
About us
We are an independent, privately owned, full daycare nursery open all year round, with the exception of the week between Christmas and New Year, and bank holidays. Established over 10-years ago after a frustrating search to find quality childcare for our own children, The Orchard Nursery provides an excellent standard of care and a safe environment for young children to develop, learn and form a valuable start to their early life.

- 08:00 am – 05:30 pm
- Sat – Sun
- Closed
We also allow a 5pm collection time too.
Fees:
Under 2s £57.00 per day
2 - 3 year olds £54.00 per day
3 - 4 year olds £47.50 per day

We accept a range of funding options for children, depending on your circumstances. From government-backed schemes, to free childcare and employer vouchers, we can work with you to help lighten the financial load.
why young children thrive in our care
If we could bottle one thing it would be the sound of children laughing. It happens a lot in our nursery, all the time in fact because having fun whilst nurturing well-balanced, healthy and happy children is at the heart of what we do. To us, having fun inspires the imagination, encourages development and builds confidence. From paint covered faces, whizzing down the outdoor slides, to role play and a simple game of peek-a-boo, we have more fun than you can shake a stick at.
With endless curiosity, we know our youngsters love to learn about their little worlds. How to draw, read, touch or even take their first steps or say their first words, their world is such an adventure. Our rooms are set out to cater for all ages, from a quiet reading area to stimulate the mind, creative play to inspire artists and plenty of opportunities for cooking and baking. We enjoy exploring nature, feeding the ducks, jumping in muddy puddles and searching for the Gruffalo.

The early stages of childhood are between the ages of 0-8 years, where they learn more quickly than at any other time in life. As an independent nursery, we place a great emphasis on the development of our all nursery practitioners to ensure your child will benefit from rapid intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development.

Your child’s early years aren’t just about learning the ABCs, shapes, and basic math concepts. It’s also a time of vital social and emotional development.

We mix age groups to encourage learning through role-modelling. Young children will learn from the older ones, and it creates a real family atmosphere.
